Enjoyed the electric bike ride in the stunning natural landscapes. Wine tasting in Piedmont was a must. Horseback riding was a blast. Manager's professionalism and hospitality made my special moments perfect. Yoga session was relaxing. Excellent success at my event. Ideal base for exploring Langhe hills.
Dying to know how much a yoga session costs. Not! ; )

Fabulous location at the top of the town of Lu Monferrato - views were wonderful.
The restaurant is only open 3 nights/week, and the town of Lu Monferrato only has one operating restaurant. There's no bar in the hotel.

The room was nice, decoration was tasteful. There's also a small kitchen in the room. They did a good job reconverting the old monastry.
The attitude from the owner wasn't the most welcoming. His attitude changed when we answered we didn't want breakfast (10 eur) or dinner... Besides when checking out, we checked out around 11 and he then was moaning to my wife "check out is at 10" not in the best manner... The standard almost everywhere is checking out before 12. If that's not the case, tell when checking in...

As a senior woman, I really appreciated the beautiful decoration of the hotel. The vintage furniture and traditional Piedmontese style created a charming and nostalgic atmosphere throughout the property. The general areas, such as the courtyard and terrace, were easily accessible for senior people like me, allowing me to relax and enjoy the stunning views of the rolling hills and vineyards.
I would have liked to see more assistance from the children working there in terms of providing activities or services specifically aimed at senior guests.

We took a leisurely walk along the charming path behind the Castle Paleologi, following the beautiful Po River. The serene atmosphere and picturesque surroundings made it a perfect spot for a family stroll, with our children enjoying the scenic views and exploring nature along the way.
In my wife's opinion, a small playground or outdoor area for children would have been a great addition for families staying at the hotel.

Centrally placed. Charming staff. Excellent bedroom and beakfast. Beautiful city. Excellent restaurants. One of the best markets in Europe in the shadow of the hotel. Some pretty towns and mountains nearby and France just over the border. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Parking a slight problem on market days.

An amazing stay at a beautiful hotel nestled in the hills with excellent facilities. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views of the rolling hills and mountains. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable with high-quality beds and bedding. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always available to assist guests. The breakfast is varied and well presented, and the hotel facilities such as parking and transportation are also top-notch.
Nothing bad to say.

There was an element of surprise as the gates to the hotel courtyard were opened. We were immediately met with smiles by the friendly family staff who were excited to give us a tour of the complex...and then showed us to our apartment which was palacial in size but warm and inviting. It had been delightfully restored to honor the ancient structure... a wonderful mix of antique and modern furnishings and conveniences...nice little kitchen, great heating system even in October!)free wifi. Wonderful restaurant! We booked for 3 days, A totally unique experience and a great place to base ourselves to explore all the little hill towns nearby!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at a historic building with modern comforts. The staff, especially Dana, provided remarkable service and made us feel valued. The property itself was breathtaking and offered a perfect blend of history and comfort. The spacious room, high-quality beds, and clean environment ensured a peaceful and quality stay. The hotel's rooftop restaurant, with its tasteful traditional Italian dinner and 5-star service, was a highlight. we highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and relaxing holiday or weekend escape.
All was good. 😊

Why this place is called a ressort, is a mistery: No sauna, bar, pool, massages or other forms of wellness. Heating and wlan did not work. one roll, sliced into 6 pieces for the 2 of us for breakfast, along with one tiny pack of butter. Part of the premises still in ruin. Adjacent restaurant only in operation during weekends. This establishment is sailing under the wrong flag! Our idea of a palazzo is different. It is a simple country lodging, nothing else.

Such a cute little town to get away from it all. The views from the hotel were stunning and the breakfast was delicious! Loved the homemade croissants and fresh jam. Plus, the host was super friendly and gave us a full tour of the property. The location was perfect for visiting local vineyards and wineries.
The room was not what we were expecting. It was quite small and not as clean as we would have liked. The bathroom was also outdated, and we found a few bugs. The staff was friendly, but not always easy to find. We also had trouble with the parking as it was not on the premises. the hotel has potential but needs some updates and improvements.
